I've engraved my original photo of a Whte Clock, Turquise Bottle and Gardenia Bloom on an 8" wide x 12 high x 1" deep basswood canvas, then added layers of oil paint over the engraving. The painting's frame is finished in a coordinating hue. A sawtooth picture hanger at the back makes it easy to hang on the wall.
