Oil on 30” x 24” MDF, in 32" x 26" stained oak frame
One of the "More to It" series currently on view at Harrison Public Library until June 4th, The Wind Cries Cathy was inspired by the Yorkshire moors of Wuthering Heights, by Emily Bronte.
I’m a huge fan of the Bronte sisters and have read all 7 of their books at some point or the other in my life. Even though Wuthering Heights is my least favorite (Jane Eyre is one of my favorites of all time), it gave this painting its title. Can you see Cathy?
