Army of One

2011, oil on 30" x 40" hand-stretched canvas. Based on a photo I took of the facade of 9 Riverdale Avenue, Yonkers (now demolished). The "Army of One' mixed media image was the street art of Jef Campion, who used photocopies of the famous photo of Diane Arbus, 'Child with Toy Hand Grenade.' I was obsessed with capturing all the textures.
